Microchipping

It is now a legal requirement to have your dog microchipped. We frequently reunite owners with their lost pets simply by scanning for a microchip and contacting the owners based on the online database containing owner’s information. Although it is not a legal requirement for cats to be microchipped, we feel it is as important given the nature of cats to wander far from home and occasionally get lost. Microchipping is a one-time quick procedure where a small chip roughly the size of a grain of rice is injected under the pet’s skin, they only feel a little pinch and we even have mini microchips for smaller dogs and cats. It is very important to ensure you and your pet’s details are kept up to date, don’t forget to update if there is a change of ownership, phone number or address.
