Here at Divilly Veterinary Clinic we have a wide range of diagnostic equipment available to ensure your pet gets the best course of treatment if they do become unwell.

Pet X-ray & Ultrasonography

We use digital radiography which allows us to get detailed x-rays within minutes. X-rays aren’t just for broken bones, they are extremely useful for detecting arthritis, evaluating your pets’ heart, lungs and internal organs. X-rays can also be sent to a specialist for further evaluation if necessary.

We use ultrasonography on a regular basis to detect pregnancies in cats and dogs as well as assessing your pets’ internal organs for any abnormalities.

Pet Blood Tests

We have a full range of in-house blood machines meaning we can get quick and accurate results in under 30 minutes. We have both biochemistry and haematology blood testing meaning we can assess your pets’ organs for signs of disease or ageing, determine if there is any infection or inflammatory process occurring and check for any electrolyte imbalances.

Our vets and nurses use microscopy on a daily basis, we can analyse aspirates from lumps, check your pet’s urine for crystals and even detect if there is a parasite living on your pets’ fur within minutes.
